Ways to remotely disable a company laptop?

I know this is an old thread but I thought I would chime in as I ran across this recently. All my computers have logmein access and bitlocker set up so using logmein I changed HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version\Winlogon CachedLogonsCount to 0 and did an emergency reboot. I havent recovered the computer yet but he cant use it either. Hope this helps someone.
